The E-light is born of KEP Italia’s continuous strive for excellence and innovation. Despite already boasting the lightest helmets on the market, KEP Italia wanted to go one step further and create a helmet weighing less than 400g.
The E-light weighs just 396g, due to the 100% carbon fibre cap, handcrafted through the autoclave process to handle the most minute of aesthetic details. The autoclave process is long and complex. Specialist craftsmen stratify the carbon fibres by hand to garner amazing results in terms of quality and high mechanical strength, making the cap light but equally resistant; thus achieving enhanced protection notwithstanding the lightness of the finished product. E-light is undoubtedly the lightest helmet on the market but is also among the world’s safest.
In the coloured-carbon version, the carbon fibres of the cap are masterfully woven with white, copper, red and blue-coloured, high mechanical performance technical materials. For the first time, carbon becomes coloured, making the product stand out from other helmets of its kind. It is possible to choose between the “naked” model, without any inserts, in order to enhance the coloured-carbon texture or instead, the model with two or three inserts, in black, red or blue that add a certain boldness and personality to your style.
